Synodic Support terms of use
The rules for using Synodic Support at support.synodicstudio.com to report players, appeal, report bugs, get help or apply to join the team.
Last updated
Use the Portal honestly and respectfully. Reports and appeals are reviewed by people, and the decision is ours. Applying for a staff role does not give you a job or a contract. If you misuse the Portal, we can take away your access.
01
Who we are and what these terms cover
Synodic Studio ("Synodic", "we", "us"), a studio based in Aarhus, Denmark, runs Synodic Support at support.synodicstudio.com (the "Portal") and can be reached at contact@synodicstudio.com. These terms govern your use of the Portal. By logging in you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Portal.
Synodic Studio is a trade name rather than a registered company. Our games are also subject to their own game rules and to Roblox's Terms of Use.
02
What Synodic Support is
The Portal is player support for Synodic Studio's games on Roblox. You can use it to:
- report a player who breaks the rules;
- appeal a punishment;
- report a bug;
- ask for help in a general support ticket;
- apply for a position on the team.
The Portal is free to use.
03
Who can use it
- You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law in your country requires it.
- You must follow Roblox's and Discord's terms and age rules.
- You must log in with your own Roblox account and link your own Discord account. Both are required to use the Portal.
- One account per person. Do not use several accounts to get around limits or restrictions.
04
Acceptable use
When you use the Portal, you agree not to:
- make reports or appeals that you know are false or misleading;
- harass, threaten or insult anyone, or post hateful content;
- share anyone's personal information (doxxing);
- spam, or open duplicate tickets to get around the limits;
- post evidence links to unlawful material, or to material that shows other people's private information beyond what is needed to support your report;
- pretend to be Synodic staff or anyone else;
- post links to malware, phishing or other harmful content;
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Portal.
05
How reports and appeals are handled
Every report and appeal is reviewed by a member of Synodic staff. We decide at our own discretion whether to take action, which action to take and whether to lift or change a punishment, and those decisions may be final.
We aim to give a first reply within 48 hours, as stated on the Portal, but we cannot guarantee a response time.
An appeal is a request for review. It does not guarantee that a ban or other punishment will be lifted. Bans issued by our anticheat are applied through Roblox's own ban system.
06
Staff applications
Applying for a position does not create employment, a contract or any other obligation for you or for us. If we offer you a role, the terms of that role are agreed separately.
We may accept or reject an application without giving reasons. You can apply again for a position 14 days after your previous application. Please answer the questions honestly, including your age.
07
Closing tickets and deleting your account
We may close a ticket when it has been dealt with, or when it is a duplicate or breaks these terms. Closed tickets are deleted 12 months after closing.
You can delete your account from your dashboard at any time. That deletes your account and all your tickets and applications, including any that are still open, and we can no longer follow up on them. The privacy policy at www.synodicstudio.com/privacy/support explains how long we keep data in other cases.
08
Staff access
Staff access to the Portal is based on the roles people hold in the Synodic Discord server. When a role is removed, the access that comes with it ends. Holding a role gives no right to keep it, and staff must use their access only for their work on the Portal.
09
Suspending access
If you break these terms or misuse the Portal, we may remove content, close tickets, or suspend or end your access to the Portal, for a period or permanently.
10
Intellectual property
The Portal, its design, code and the Synodic name and mark belong to Synodic. All rights are reserved. You keep the rights to what you write in your tickets and applications, and you give us permission to use it to handle your request and run the Portal.
11
Roblox and Discord
Synodic Studio is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Roblox Corporation or Discord Inc. Roblox and Discord are trademarks of their respective owners. Your use of Roblox and Discord is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their services.
12
Availability and liability
We provide the Portal "as is". We aim to keep it running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or pause it at any time.
To the extent permitted by law, Synodic is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Portal, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Portal is limited to one hundred euros (EUR 100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights that consumer protection law gives you.
13
Personal data
How we handle your data on the Portal is described in the Synodic Support privacy policy at www.synodicstudio.com/privacy/support.
14
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law, and the courts of Denmark have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in another country, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings there.
If a dispute arises, please write to contact@synodicstudio.com first. We prefer to sort things out directly.
15
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last revised, and we will announce important changes on the site and in our Discord server. If you keep using the Portal after a change, the updated terms apply.
16
Contact
Questions about these terms: contact@synodicstudio.com. For help with a game, please open a ticket on the Portal.
