Synodic Store terms of use and sale

The terms that apply when you use store.synodicstudio.com and buy Synodic Studio's items on Roblox.

Last updated

The Synodic Store is a showcase of our Roblox items. You never pay us directly: every purchase happens on Roblox, with Robux, under Roblox's Terms of Use, and Roblox delivers the item to your Roblox inventory. These terms explain what that means for you, what you can do with the items, and where to go if something goes wrong. Nothing in them takes away rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

01

Who we are

The Store at store.synodicstudio.com (the "Store") is run by Synodic Studio ("Synodic", "we", "us"), Aarhus, Denmark, contact@synodicstudio.com. The items in the Store are sold on Roblox through the Synodic Studio group.

Synodic Studio is a trade name and not yet a registered company, so we have no CVR number yet. We will add the registered name and CVR number here as soon as the company exists.

By using the Store or buying one of our items, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store.

02

What the Store is

The Store shows Synodic Studio's items on Roblox: avatar clothing such as hoodies and sweatpants, and in future game passes for our games. The Store has no checkout and takes no payments. The cart only helps you keep track of items you are interested in.

Every buy button opens the item on roblox.com. You buy it there with Robux, and the Robux go to the Synodic Studio group on Roblox. Roblox then delivers the item to your Roblox inventory.

03

Roblox's terms govern the purchase

Because the sale is concluded on Roblox, Roblox's Terms of Use govern the purchase, including how Robux work, delivery, cancellation and refunds. Refunds and chargebacks are handled under Roblox's rules, not by us. Please read Roblox's terms before you buy.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law, including any statutory rights you may have against Roblox as the platform through which you bought the item.

04

Prices

Prices are shown in Robux only, as reported by Roblox. They may change at any time. If the Store and Roblox ever show different prices, the price Roblox shows when you confirm the purchase is the one that applies.

05

What you get when you buy an item

Our items are virtual items for use on Roblox. Buying one gives you a licence to use it on Roblox under Roblox's terms. You do not acquire ownership of the item or of any intellectual property in it.

  • Virtual items have no real-money value.
  • We cannot exchange them, or the Robux spent on them, for money.
  • They cannot be transferred outside Roblox.

06

Game passes

Game passes give you benefits in a specific game. Games change as we update them, and the benefits of a game pass may change with them.

07

Your account and minors

You need a Roblox account to buy our items and to log in to the Store, and you must meet Roblox's age requirements. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian before you buy anything. We recommend that parents use Roblox's parental controls to manage spending.

You are responsible for your Roblox account. Logging in to the Store is optional and only used to show your avatar and the items you already own.

08

Problems with a purchase

If something goes wrong with a purchase, for example an item does not appear in your inventory, open a ticket at support.synodicstudio.com and we will help as far as we can. Refunds of Robux and chargebacks are handled by Roblox under its rules.

09

Giveaways

We sometimes run giveaways, announced on our Discord. For every giveaway:

  • no purchase is necessary to enter or win;
  • the specific rules are announced with the giveaway;
  • it must comply with Roblox's rules, and so must everyone taking part;
  • it is void where prohibited by law.

10

Using the Store

You may browse the Store, log in with Roblox and follow its links to buy items. In return we ask that you do not:

  • use automated tools to scrape or harvest the Store's content or data;
  • abuse the login, for example by automating it, flooding it with requests or trying to use someone else's account;
  • attempt to probe, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Store or its server;
  • impersonate Synodic Studio or another person.

We may block or rate-limit access that breaches these rules, without notice.

11

Intellectual property

The Store and its content, including text, design, images, code, our items and the Synodic name and mark, belong to Synodic Studio or are used under licence. All rights are reserved. You may view the Store as a normal part of browsing, but you may not copy, reproduce or commercially use its content or our items' designs without our written permission.

12

Relationship with Roblox

Synodic Studio is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation. We name Roblox only to describe where our items are sold and used.

13

Liability

We aim to keep the Store available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or up to date at every moment. We are not responsible for Roblox's platform, services or availability.

To the extent permitted by law, Synodic will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Store, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Store is limited to one hundred euros (EUR 100).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights that mandatory consumer law gives you, including any statutory rights you may have against Roblox as the platform through which you bought an item.

14

Personal data

How the Store handles personal data is described in the Synodic Store privacy policy at www.synodicstudio.com/privacy. It forms part of these terms.

15

Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from the Store are governed by Danish law, and the courts of Denmark have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings there where those laws allow it.

If a dispute arises, please write to contact@synodicstudio.com or open a ticket at support.synodicstudio.com first. We prefer to sort things out directly.

16

General

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues in effect. A failure by us to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.

17

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms, for example when we add game passes or the Store changes. The revised version takes effect when it is published here, and the date at the top will change accordingly. Material changes will also be announced on the site and on our Discord.
